  1. Constant ON - Front/Rear Power Outlets and Accessory Terminals

    Kawasaki Mule
Are you referring to accessing it from under the hood by removing the two screws that hold the Electrical Control Box in place then tilting it forward to gain access to the back side of it? That is the easiest way to access that relay as well as the backside of all of the dash switches...

I have never worked on a FX but I would think the wiring would be the same.
  7. Mule Pro Exhaust Mod

I looked at an old photo and the small end did fit over my exhaust pipe. If you have a Dremel with a small cutting disc, you can hone out the pipe and then it might fit.

I recall I used a 1.375" ID to 1.5" adapter to go from the Mule exhaust to the elbow. I used self-tapping screws.

Yes I did, see the attachment. I also found a blue Diff Lock switch but haven't taken the time to install it. I found both on eBay but it has been some time so I can't provide a link to either of them. Go to eBay and search for "4x4 lighted rocker switch" and you will find plenty to choose...

Checkout the Mule Book starting at page 22 for some ideas on how to mount your box. That's 2x2" aluminum angle bar screwed into the Mule's frame. The cover does fit with the seat folding down and you could put some pretty heavy stuff in there. Mule Book...

ECU = Electronic Control Unit, the Mule's brain. Some circuits in the ECU operates on 5 volts. The reverse circuit is one of them. If you use the Reverse wire to operate a 12 volt relay and connect it improperly you can inadvertently apply 12 volts to the ECU a fry some of its components. šŸ˜ž
