I'm looking at buying a 03 prairie 360 with solid axle. I was wondering if it can be converted to a split axle for driving on hard surfaces and grass. I have machine and welding shop. I also repair mowers etc. What would I look for to make transition, thanks

I have a 2006 prairie 360 2×4 and whenever you put it in gear, (forward or reverse) you have to rev it up alot before the clutch finally engages, but when it does, it's sudden, not gradual. Anyone know what parts could be causing this?

Hi all! I'm having an issue with my 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 360 in regards to the belt light flashing. The atv isn't in limp mode and drives fine. I did the belt light reset about 100 times and that hasn't worked. I'm wondering if anyone knows what this light sequence means? Any answers will be...

Will taking the drive belt cover connectors off make it run poorly? Would running it without the connectors mess something up? Cause now it seems to run bad. Edit: Never mind, it was just a small mix up in resetting the belt. Didn't unplug the two wire after flipping the grey and black four...

I just put a new carb in my 360 today. The last carb was causing it to idle to high to the point where I couldn't change gears. After I got the new carb in I adjusted the idle screw and it finally started idling fine. I put it in gear and when I started to give it a lot of gas it kinda sputtered...

Hey all, Recently became the new owner of an older quad---a 2004 prairie 360 4x4. I have searched these forums to no avail and cannot seem to find the appropriate answer to the issue I am having. When I first bought the bike, it would sputter in low range RPMS and not go over 40. The guy I...

I am putting a Pro Max 2500 winch on my 2008 Prairie 360. I had to get a buddy to make a custom mounting bracket as the one that came with the kit didn't fit the mounting plate on the ATV. So now I have it mounted and I have the wires run to the battery and handlebars for the in/out switch...

I came here looking for some help, I have a 2011 Prairie 360 With no many hours on it. Since day 1, you have to use the choke even on the hottest days and rev it and slowly let the choke out for about 5 minutes. I mostly use it for snow plowing. The dealer has taken it in multiple times and...

My son just recently purchased a 2003 prairie 360. No mileage on quad because had no speedo/odometer. He paid $1200 for it , so apparently he felt was a fair deal, prob hoping Dad would do all the repairs so how could he go wrong. I am relatively handy for most everything. Diehard DIY'er...

I've got a 13 year old daughter looking over my shoulder hoping to hear that we can get a passenger seat for our 2007 Prairie 360. I was told there are no official Kawasaki passengers seats for this model (liability concerns), but there are "storage" attachments that do the job? If this is...

my elderly father, for whom I bought this for, has been dealing with this problem for years and now it is in my hands to find a solution for my brother with Downs Syndrome, who loves to ride and is very smart. Hi all, Went to my sisters today to change the oil in our 2011 Prairie. After getting it changed took it for a spin and it was backfiring in reverse and in drive. I took for a short spill around her field and everytime I left off the throttle a bit it would make a backfire sound and acted like...

I recently purchased a 2013 Prairie and have taken it several places to test it's performance. It seemed to perform well in muddy, rough terrains. Since these rough/muddy terrains were all traversed in 4x4, today I decided to leave the ATV in 2wd and test its limits. Much to my surprise, the...

I recently purchased a 2013 Prairie 360. It cuts out or misses when I give it gas during the warm up. I saw in the forum that people refer to the Prairie 360 as cold natured, but did not see anything with respect to cutting out. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it something to be concerned...
