Ok so hellos every one. New to the group. Here's my dilemma.. my bike starts perfect. Idles perfect. Long rides no problem. Off the line has great power. Can plow my driveway with heavy slush to the point where the wheels hop from pushing to heavy... But....... Won't go over 55-60km/h.. if I gradually throttle up I might get 65-70. Usually at 3/4 throttle there's no more pickup. If I push the throttle all the way I hear the carb intake but no power is added.

When the filter is dirty, it can cause a delay in acceleration and throttle response because when the fuel attempts to pass through a filter that is clogged or dirty, it takes far longer than it would through a clean filter.

Has the CVT / converter system been inspected? Maybe the sheaves are worn smooth so belt is slipping at higher speeds, driven or driver spring worn out?
