Hi All. New to the site. need some help.
So a while back I had lost the keys to my 750. Took the ignition to a lock smith to have keys made. In the meant time waiting 3 days to have them make them. Buddy and I decide to see if we could do a jump wire or cross some of the wires to a switch to see if we could get it to turn on.
didn't work. Got the 750 to power up but not run right. so I waited till I got the ignition back with the new keys. Well I hooked it back up and nothing. No power what so ever. Thought ok maybe battery is dead.
Hooked up the jumper box. Nothing. so now the 750 is all back together and I have no power when I turn the key. Any Ideas anyone???
I have been working on cars my whole life so I check the simpile things.
Fuses, Broken, wires, all plugs and cables on connected.

Thank you for your help,
Chris

it ran before you lost the keys? You do have the kill switch in the run position.....it happens

I do believe there is a resistor or something like that in the ignition switch that keeps them from being jumped.....don't know you may have shorted it trying to jump it
