Found on another site that 08 they do it all off the temp sensor in the thermostate housing. Has anyone wired a switch in with its own power wire aswell as they sensor itself.

 

if it's like most sensors/switch and has two wires running to it, one is the load/hot and when the switch closes it completes the circuit and sends power through the other leg to the fan motor. So if it is a two wire switch then yes you can splice a toggle switch between the two legs and turn the fan on manually, this also allows the fan to still operate off the sensor also
