i live in bc canada the elevation in which i ride is about 1000 -3000 ft.
i ride a 08 kfx 700 has dual yoshi`s k&n filter in stock airbox
has stock jetting. i bought the bike set up this way!
it starts and runs pretty good but it does seem to back pop out the exhaust when i`m off the gas!
do i need different jetting? would like to set it up where it runs it`s best from sea level to 3000 ft.

Backfiring out the exhaust is a lean condition caused by the idle circuit or a exhaust leak.

You can try turning the mixture screws out first and look for a exhaust leak very near the head.
