was preforming the 20 hr valve clearance check. Had problems getting the 10mm feeler gauge under the outside valves. later when I rolled the engine over to check other valves, I noticed that there is rust on the back of both the intake and exhaust cams. Called the dealer, they turned it into Kawasaki. Kawasaki came back and said it it common issue and there is no problem for the engine. Have any of you seen this. Tech at dealer assured me that if issues show up, Kawasaki will take care of it as he entered a log # with the issue to Kawasaki. I could see how it might not effect anythng when the engine is running, but makes it a little tough to gauge the play in the valve.
