Hey guys brand new to the forum. My girlfriend and I have been looking for a quad for months to tool around on and we finally found one today. I bought a 2003 Prairie 360. When I went and looked at it everything was fine. Took it for a ride and everything. I asked about the belt and the young man told me it only had about 10-13 hours on it. I brought it home and we rode it for about an hour, and now it’s grinding when trying to go into any gear. Sometimes to get into high gear I have to throw it in reverse and immediately throw it through and into high. The idle
Is not set high at all it’s perfectly low. Do you think I should pull the cover and see if the belt is shot? Any opinions? It didn’t start doing this until it was fully hot after riding it for so long, like I said it was fine at the young mans house.
