Hi all, another one of these...I've searched and fond lots related to this.

New to me 360 - bought in this condition and want to be sure I have my ducks in a row.

From N, into H or R it grinds like you've missed a gear in a 5 spd truck. Start it, lean on it to roll the wheels a little bit, goes right into gear and can ride with no issues....Idle is fine.

I'm looking for a step by step on replacing a wt and or spring if thats all thats needed. Is something like this available?

Thanks...Tom

Do a web search for Prairie shift linkage adjustment. There some vids on YouTube and lots of info out there on it. It’s also in the service manual which you can find online.

If you do the proper linkage adjustment and the shift rod isn’t bent, then it’s possible that the fork is bent. Unfortunately that requires splitting the case to replace the fork.
