Noticed oil coming out the top end of the motor so started working on it and when I drained the fluids couldn’t see coolant in oil, then when I pulled the drain screw for my coolant nothing came out but a bubble, then I took the cap off radiator and some shot out. Possibly air lock of some sort ?? And when I popped the cover the rest poured out but I feel like that’s natural

You will only have a little drip out of the coolant drain screw until you undo the rad cap, then it will shoot out all over the place.

There are 8mm screws near the bottom of each cylinder that will drain what's left in the jugs. Then some coolant usually finds it's way down into the head bolt recesses when you take the head off. Make sure you clean out those holes before putting the head back on.

Where was the oil coming from up top? If you don't get the valve check covers on right with the o rings in the track, they will leak. The o-rings around the chain tensioners can also leak when they get old.

[/QUOTE The motor hasn’t been touched in 3years, it’s hard to tell but the front head is just covered in oil and I stoped on the trail bc the oil was comin up on my front plastics. I didn’t know if it was a possibility that my from head overheated bc my water pump wasn’t working, I really just don’t know where to start
