Just checking to see if others have had their starter gear stick when starting the engine. I have 340 hours and 2500 miles on my machine. Rather than completely removing the starter which is quite a large job according to my service manual. I removed the CVT cover and clutch and sprayed a dry lube on the flywheel while starting the engine to lube the starter gear shaft. It seemed to stop it for a few days and it has started again. I think it is the dust that gets in the area causing the gear to stick. What a PIA ! Any recommendations on fixing this without a complete removal? I might just leave it until the gear gets damaged and then replace the starter.
