Mods in sig, what degree key do I need??? My thoughts are 6 since I already run 93 octane. Where do the degree keys shine, low, mid, high, or all RPM??? What kind of power can I expect from a deg key??? All opinions are welcome!!!!

I'm not an expert by any means...
but from memory of what I've read on the subject...
I believe a 6* will be fine for even a stock motor...
I also remember someone posting no significantly measurable HP gains...
HOWEVER, the throttle response is GREATLY increased...
so the seat of the pants feel is that of increased power...
these motors seem to like alot of ignition timing advance.

I run the 6* key in both of mine and they definitely give them better throttle response as well as making them start easier. I run 92 octane and haven't had any problems.

thanks to all, Im ordering the 6 deg key. I was wondering, does this change the valve adjustment mark any? I mean, if the flywheel is moved forward in rotation 6 degrees do the marks still need to be spot on for valve adjustments???

How far advanced do the Aftermarket CDI's go? Its not the 25 bucks for 6 deg key way, just thinking a CDI improves the curve, Rev Limit, and advance in 1 package

There was just a recent thread on this where they posted pics of the right direction to put the key in---I can't find it but someone will----Also you'll need a flywheel puller---I don't thing the key would affect your flywheel marks for valve adjustment.

Especially built with cams and hi-comp pistons.

Don't forget to put the flywheel bolt back in to use the flywheel puller!
