I went out for a neighborhood tour today and found a nice muddy field. When I got tired of slipping and spinning I hit the 4x4 switch. After moving a few feet, I noticed the 2wd was still on. I switched it back and forth a couple times, but no change. Having no other choice, I proceded onward and the 4x4 was locking in and unlocking every 5 seconds or so. After I got out of the slop, I turned the bike off and restarted it and things worked fine the rest of the day. I plan to double check my connections tomorrow. Should I be looking for anything in particular? Should I call the dealer and get it looked at?

The four wheel drive doesn't actuate until the quad is moving .When you engage it you should roll forward but do not spin the rear tires because it takes a little while for it to fully engage. If you spin the tires before it is fully engaged it will pop in and out until the front and rear whell are rolling at the same speed long enough to fully engage
