You may need to pull and service the 4x4 actuator.............could be the forward reverse sensor...........could be the display meter.........
Is it going into 4x4? Don't assume.....Know.........does the front wheels pull, spin, etc.?
Is the actuator working? Do you hear it running, turning, engaging?
Does it have the relay bypass mod?
Do you have a service manual?..........
