I recently bought a 2004 Prairie 700 and shortly after the 4wd/2wd indicator began flashing. I looked at the actuator and noticed it was damaged. I bought a new one and plugged it in before installing it and the indicator went to 2wd and no longer flashes, but I noticed when I switch to 4wd, I can feel the actuator click for a split second but the spindle does not rotate. I thought maybe it needed to be installed for some reason but that did not help.

There is also a strange electronic kind of noise coming from the engine brake actuator. I am wondering if there is another problem causing both issues. I checked the fuses under the seat and they all seemed good. Any ideas what else I should check for? Thank you.

The controller under the seat operates both actuators. They do go bad, but not that often.
