might want to ask vforcejohn i think he said u would lose power. i dont know much but i can remember something on a thread that said keep ur box lid on.

I seem to remember a thread on this. I have been digging around with the search engine and can't seem to find it.
Almost everybody uses a open filter on the 36mm CV Kehins. I thought CV carbs liked the airflow restriction of a modded airbox better?

There are sure a lot of us running around with No airbox at all.

I am already running the open setup. I ran a modded air box with the Mikuni 37s though.
You need to run an air plenum like mine.
The air plenum would be the easy part. Creating a positive pressure environment for it to operate in................well.............that's another matter.:lol:You need to run an air plenum like mine.
