Good day to all of you once again;

Does anyone know of a twist throttle control that can be installed on a 1997 Prairie 400? The thumb lever on this ATV wears out my thumb and my partner's thumb within half an hour. We are both interested in trying out a twist throttle control instead as that is what we have on our motorcycle.

Have an awesome day everyone!

They take quite a bit of getting used to on an ATV.
Handlebar movement is very slight on a motorcycle, while every turn requires greater input on an ATV. The more technical the riding, the harder the twist throttle will be to use.

There is a dual function throttle available. Markin medford has one. You lock it in twist or thumb it's pretty cool. I would go that route or figure out why yours is so stiff. Maybe need to lube or replace the cable.

I use a Moose dual gasser because I need to give my thumb a break sometimes. They fit anything but make no mistake, twist throttles are dangerous on ATVs so be careful. I will say with the addition of my EZ Steer Eps it seems a lot less dangerous.
