Or would it be better to just take the lid off or get rid of the box altogether and jet accordingly? I live in winters of -20C to summers of 30C. Does anyone have any similar experience?
Better air box '04 kfx 400?
I recently just got my '04 KFX 400 and noticed the stock air box is kinda crappy:lame: It has only a small port for the top. Does anyone know of any inexpensive aftermarket air boxes that are available? Need to get more flow :tup:

For your climate I dont think I would be that much of a big deal but the wet seasons you would definately want something. Look into a 400ex intake tube and a Large uni filter to fit, as well as the EHS lid.
