I just bought a 2006 Brute Force 650. I have looked for the vin number on the frame up front under the differential on left side by the A arm. There is no vin number. I have searched this site and read other post about maybe the frame was replaced or something. Is there any other place on this ATV to look? Is there a motor serial number or any other number that the dealer could use to identify this ATV? I also want to make sure that it is not stolen before I start putting money into it. The frame does not look altered where the vin should be.

All the 650 & 750is had their VINs at this location. As far as I know all others also had them here as well. Your title will also have the vin. If there is/was no title and no sign of the VIN, assume it was stolen...most everyone knows that.
