I replaced both choke springs in each carb with the stiffer springs from the KLR. while i had the cables out i cleaned them out real good with wd-40. soaked them till they moved real free. Thought I was done till I had the quad out in the cold this weekend and the Wd-40 froze on me. I did not think it would freeze but it does, I have talked to a few others since and this does happen. I pulled out a hair dryer hit the cables for a few then they were fine. I bought a cable luber to lube the cables and get the wd out but, can this be used with the cables still in the carb, will any of the cable lube getting into the carb cause problems, or can the lube not get in past the choke? Also with the Y cable are you able to get the luber onto each side ? if not how do you lube both cables after it splits. I dont want to remove the carbs just to lube...
