Mine was loose also. My tensioner was bad and I couldn't reset it. So I took it apart then drilled it and made my own manual tensioner. I should have took some pics on how I did it. Manual tensioners will allow you to use up to 3 more links length over a stock one.
Cam Chain?
Well i just went through the whole top end and i did see that the chain was rubbing but i thought maybe that resetting the cam chain tensioner would help. Well its still rubbing and can s hear it i will try a new chain tensioner first but i want to know how much u need to tear down again to put a new one on. Can i just take the side cover off and the valve cover and slip it over the magneto and then use a magnet to pull it through the jug and head or do i have to take the magneto off completely?

Thing is I would need to know what length it would need to be to make your chain not too tight or not too loose. If you were closer I could do one for you. How much slack do you have? Is the tensioner all the way out?
well i don't have much slack i think ill post pics or a vid but i will for sure try a new one first then if that dosent work ill try drilling it myself then if i fail ill pay you(if ur willing) to do the new one
If you can get me a good video of you moving the chain between the cams I think I could manage to make your tensioner work. Get me a vid. Hopefully it is just about like mine was and I can make you one directly off of mine. Im sure we can get you fixed up :tup:
K cool its at my dads house right now i had to take it over there after i ran into a little trouble during the rebuild so i wont be able to make a video till this weekend. thanks alot oh ps do u have any pics of the mojave with the decals you had that guy make. i sorta wanted to see how they looked on the quad
