carb anyone?

just put a fmf fatty on the t4 with answer silencer. anyone has a jetted carb they're willing to sale? don't have time to fix anything at the moment and tecate part wise is very new to me.. rather put it on and go lol. let me know if so. thanks.

It's going to be awful hard to get a carb jetted just right for your engine and pipe/altitude

really? thats sucks lol. seen a few with that set up so figured i would give it a shot. hopefully it's not impossible. it will only start with starter fluid or on reserve. stalls when gas is on. won't even start unless i do one out of the 2.

um you asked for a prejetted carb cause you dont want to do it yourself even though every engine is different and will be jetted different (well for perfection anyway)

You left out crucial info and it shows your lack of understanding of jetting and thus justifies your request.

I think the joke is you listed your location as OUTWORLD and jetting for OUTWORLD would be hard to do.

Please go read the what and why of jetting a 2 cycle. Most forums have a big old sticky thread about jetting at the top but the newbies never read anything cause societies dont train people to be self reliant anymore.

ummm seriously?? i know what jetting is. it's basically adjusting a carburetor's fuel and air ratio to the machine's best interest. that includes the elevation on where you live. sea level etc..you also gain better performance and healthy engine life. i asked for a prejetted carb because of personal reasons. schedule etc. what pulled your chain? you seem to have a mature way on speaking to the newbies. i bet you feel very great about yourself huh? maybe i just don't want to jet the carb myself. maybe that's why people actually sale prejetted carbs. maybe that's why shops and mechanics have jobs on helping people in this line of work. i don't think their jobs require them to snort a few lines,flip out and tell them the way you tell it. as for the outworld???? hmmm you really nailed that one. im guessing your mad at the world. what does it mean to you? bothers you huh? how about new york. that's your elevation and sea level if it makes your day brighter. should have just asked me. i have actually seen tons of bogus names etc including yours. guessing mines just happen to stand out more huh? you don't even have a location ???? ok your no help. your names not nd4speed now. it's dick. suits you better. learn how to talk to people. your a newbie when it comes to that. guess society don't train people on that one either huh?

thanks for the advice T dilley. i can respect that. i will keep that in mind. lol amazing how one question in a thread can drive someone. haha either you had a carb or not. what was the big deal? i see people offer things and sale things in here all the time. as for chucked i appreciate your concern. some advice but really not needed or helpful. you actually wasted your time literally. thanks anyway and have a nice day. wow! very big ego trippers in here haha. last post. im outta here

Well it could have been an opportunity for some to take advantage of you and sell you a junk carb or one that was not jetted right for you.

Take it to a mechanic if you have no time or motivation to do it yourself.

I have very few posts on here, but I do alot of reading. I wrench on my own stuff and I ask a few questions from time to time. Not one of us poped out of our mother knowing how to do this sort of thing. Being as the Tecate is becoming more rare by the year, I would suggest that we stick together as a whole and not try to belittle those who ask questions. I just don't understand the ego it takes to trash someone else for asking a question. It must be a Democrat thing, because an honest gun toting Republican would abstain from such an encounter unless he had to, due to the fact of the other gun toting republican may just take offence. Many a man has been shot for running his mouth, when keeping it shut would have served him much better. That is just my two cents worth. Keep it civil. America is going through some tough times, and I have noticed that more and more people are near their breaking point. Sometimes a kind word is all it takes to bring someone back, and a smart ass comment could be all it takes for you to become a victim. I'll get off my soapbox and shut my mouth now.
