Tonight I changed out the seal on the front Diff that goes to the drive shaft. What a pain in the A$$. Took forever to ge the new seal to seat. And note that you have to bolt the output shaft back on before you install the seal. I didn't and had to pull the seal back off and then do it over again.


Some notes to you if you are going to try this. It's not that hard if you have the tools to do the job. I had to hunt for something to use to place against the seal and hit with a rubber mallet. Found a piece of PVC pipe about the same diameter and got lucky. If you have a better tool let me know cause this was a pain due to kawi putting the frame in the way. lol

What's going to suck is if it was the seal inside the yoke behind the nut that was leaking and not the big seal you replaced.

The one I am talking about leaks more often than the big one due to spinning in 2wd heating up the yoke seal.

Don't ask me how I know this. Education cost!!
