Just like painterx 5 hp straight to the wheels not crank. Will also help you throttle response. Very good mod for a stock or built engine.

How does this compare to the upp intakes? Performance and durability wise?

From the looks of the intake tube and placement of the crossover I would bet that the performance would be about the same.

I had a set of UPPs (red set) on my V before I sold them and made my own. I literally didn't notice any power loss changing between the two. Also my AFR didn't change after switching either. 12.5-13.0 all the way through the powerband.

These things are tuff! My guess would be you would have to brake/cut to get them apart. I'd almost bet they will out last the engine. Of course this is only my personal opinion and not guaranteed.

I had five people PM me on these intakes so I'm going to make a few more sets for thous of you who PMed me. If anyone else wants a set just PM me. I don't care to go making a bunch of them but I have to problem making a few more.

Mine won't be UPP's anymore. I'm having a local shop mold me new ones. they said they can do them better than the UPP's

Yea I forgot UPP's was the name of the company not the intakes them themselves.
