well it is official,my bbk project"project money pit" is finally finished.first i would like to thank badasskfx for helping me with this project,he took the time to build this thing for me and it didn't go as smoothly as we thought it would.i have a few loose ends to button up and i should be all set.i truly could'nt ask for a better friend, thanks shawn!!you da man.when i got home today i unloaded it and took around my yard and took it fairly easy for about fifteen minutes on and off the throttle, then before i but it away i let it rip from a rolling start and almost shat myself:pthis thing is a beast!!.i need to get a fan and my clutch needs to be done by john and then i want to fine tune it with clutch springs, and i still have the stock cdi,so i guess i need one of those too.can't wait to actually ride again....matt:rock:

Welcome to the fun side. I love my stg 2 730. I run a stock cdi, stock carbs, stock filter, stock intakes, and HMF's. I do run a 6 degree key. Put the key in there and VFJ's stg 3 clutch, and you'll think you did yet another build on it. I run the Orange/Blue with two stock weights and two barely lighter than stock weights

thanks marshmellow!sounds like we have pretty much the same setup.once i get my clutch modded by john(hopefully soon)i plan on trying different springs.i have a pink in there now.is the orange/blue spring good for all around riding?we do alot of tight rough trails and the occasional sand pit.i don't really want a ton of stall...matt

I can vouch for marshmellow's bike being fast. Especially the size this dude is. Not fat just a big guy.
Very nice machine.

You have the money pit stuff right I'm still in the middle of my build and the wife decided to file for divorce so progress came to a screeching halt untill we can get all of the financials squared away. Sounds like yours turned out great, I'm hoping for the same.

The Org/blu is a great spring. I have not changed it out since I dyno'ed it at Johns. From the hills in West VA to the drag strip to the Dunes in Idaho. It has just enough stall. If it hits too hard for ya, just put an EPI spacer on the primary

I hear ya Minimus:p

When I had mine,I could never find one. I ended up sliding the smaller hose off the catch can down into the line coming off the factory vent line. It never leaked and worked fine.

I never used a clamp on mine. You could use some glue from a tire patch kit,it will vulcanize(sp?) the hoses together.
