Ok guy just a little frustrated. I've a 2005 kfx400 and had problems starting it up. So I checked the valve clearance and they where way out of tolerance. So I pulled the top end. Valves looked really good so I cleaned them up and lapped them. Shimmed the valve and got them back to tolerance. While the carb was off I cleaned and put it back together. I put the bike back together and tried to fire it up. After a few minutes I stopped and checked the oil reservoir and it was full and over flowing. It had gas in it. So I researched the problem and was told it might be the diaphragm in the petcock. This was an issue because the diaphragm was non existent. I just replaced the petcock with a raptor 660 petcock and blocked of the vent. So now I emptied the contaminated oil and filled with new oil and new gas. I tried to start it again with same result. Gas in oil. I need help. P.s. The carb was just rebuilt. Any suggestions. Oil only go is in gas when trying to start.
