Gas leak

I have an 09 650i brute force that has started to have a small gas smell. It started a couple drives ago and I have found that the gas is coming from a small black hose that is on the left side of the motor. It comes down by the oil dip stick area and looks like it goes up and splits to two and goes I think to the carbs? The hose has a one way check valve on the bottom that you can suck out but not blow in. After I stop for the day I have to shake a few drops of gas out and wash the area below the hose. Its not running out but you can see its wet and smell gas when you stop. Any ideas before I call the dealer?

This is the carb drain hose. You must have a inlet needle sticking in one of the carbs. A little piece of dirt usually gets in there and holds the valve open slightly. You can dry flushing it with the carbs on the bike, there are drain screws where those hoses go into the carbs, drain them completely then turn the bike on so that it pumps fuel. The rush of fuel will often flush out whatever dirt is stuck in the inlet needle. Close the screws back up and see if it is still leaking.
Thanks for the reply, I will try that tomorrow to see if it works. The bike is new about 50 hours on it and it just started doing this last weekend. The drain screws are easy to find? I am scared to touch something I'm unsure about but don't want to take the bike back for something that minor if I can fix it.
Thanks riverkid I did what you said and tried it today and it seamed to run dry.

That is where it will leak at if your mechanical seal is bad
