It has been in the 60's for the past few days. So far, the warmest since i bought my 650sra. While riding today, I noticed an abundance of heat around my legs. I don't baby my quad, so I expect the motor to get hot, but this thing looks to be a scorcher when summer and 90+ averages arrive. I hope it's just my learning curve as this is my 1st water cooled quad. My old Honda was air cooled but always cooled right down with a little wind. Is this thing gonna get hot enough to be unbearable? Thanks.

i will refuse to ride my brute without pants and knee boots, my header pipes are usually glowing red, hard to tell during day, but at night there my own little set of head lights!
