Just curious how many miles you should put on a fresh top-end before using any spray?

Happy trails...:)

I would atleast make sure the rings are seated, but what do I know? Nothing much because I have my motor up at VFORCEJOHN's getting done. Figured it wasn't worth me to f' it up again.

If the cyl's were bored with torque plates and honed with a good cross hatch the rings should seat pretty quick. If they weren't bored with turque plates then there will be a slight distortion when they are torqued down and the rings will have to wear past this before you really beat on it or you can break a ring.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that most 4 stroke engines take at least a few hundred miles to fully break in the rings. Is that not correct?
