 HAVE A QUESTION ON MY INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION ON MY 2010 BRUTE FORCE 750I. I ONLY HAVE THREE HOURS, 16 MILES ON MY ATV, BOUGHTT IT LAST YEAR IN DECEMBER. I NOTICED TODAY THAT THE REAR SHOCK HOUSING HAS SCRAPES ON IT, LOOKS TOO ME THE SPRING IS RUBING ON THE HOUSING WHEN RIDING, HAS ANYONE HAD THIS ISSUE? SHOULD THIS BE A CONCERN OR IS IT NORMAL? ANY ADVISE WOULD BE APPRECIATED, THANKS.

That part is only the cover for the shaft of the shock ,it is not the body. You probably ran over a branch or something and it got hit and bent a little. It is nothing to worry about .You should be able to grab it and push it in the oposite direction and it will bend back to be centered in the spring if it bothers you.

My 08 has the same thing happening to it. Basicly a rock, mud or whatever else might be on the trail stick to it and as you ride the suspension is working and rubbing it. Totally normal for a machine that sees the trails.
