?

Wow .....not sure.........I kinda think he just corrected all his problems..............the car was prob suppose to get that milage to start with..........

He didn't change his oil for over 2 years....
His air filter was so dirty it was growing corn......
If you opened his hood at night the plug wires would look like a thunder storm lightning show because the rats ate all the insul off.........
The acetone he put in helped remove part of Niagra Falls he was using as fuel..........
Getting the extra weight out actually hurt because it slowed it going down hill.......
Wow........ but airing up the tires might have got him 20 more miles to the gallon.....like obama stated would save the whole US economy!

His video should have read.........." I finally serviced my car and now I get mileage! "

:lol::lol::lol:

im mainly refering to the acetone part
DOnt know I will try it on my next fill up and report back
I have read before about the acetone theory and finally decided to try it. Some say that it takes quite a few tanks for you to actually start seeing results. I tried it for about 4 tanks and cant really say if I noticed anything. His BS about seeing an increase of 10mpg just from the acetone is absolute horse shit!!!!! Just my 2cents
I have never heard of the acetone trick. I'm also curious to find out if it really works. I have to wonder if the acetone is harmful to the seals/gaskets in the fuel system/motor?
Did a quick google search and found this...

********

"The popular Discovery channel show "Mythbusters" tested the acetone theory on Episode #58: "Exploding Pants." While the show did not test the full range of acetone and gas mixtures, it tested at a 500:1 gas to acetone ratio. This evens out to about 2.56 fluid ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of gasoline, which is within the range recommended by LaPointe. The show found that there was no improvement in fuel economy when using acetone and actually found that gas mileage may decrease from using the chemical."
SWEET. good find mikey

thanks
You should anyways... but mix it 50/50
...............

Acetone even in small amounts will deteriorate seals, o-rings, and some gaskets ...............it's highly corrosive.............CH 3 COCH 3.............any organic compound is history..........and when exposed to most metals it makes it vulnerable to oxidation and corrosion............
If you add any chemical that is more combustable than the crap they sell as gas it will improve mileage to some extent but acentone will definetely destroy o rings and gaskets. As for the new filters and wires ,the car probably needed a tune up .We all know the one about tire inflation.Lastly if you shut off the car when it would normally be idling it probably would save you a little gas but probably not enough to replace the starter when it wears out .
