kawi 360 starting problems

my 2007 kawi 360 4×4 four wheeler won't start. sometimes it fires some times it don't. it will crank every now and then but shut off shortly after then won't start for awhile. pull the spark plug out ground it out it fires good it ain't dirty. not the carb I don't reckon please give me some good advice and help thanks in advance
