I just bought a 2004 KFX 700 from the original owner. He put a set of DMC Alien Dual exhaust pipes on it but did not re-jet the carburetors. The altitude here in Oklahoma is around 1500' if that makes a difference. The bike really runs great but I've been told the carbs should be re-jetted with the better exhaust. Does anyone know if I really should re-jet the carbs and if so how much? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

What other mods does it have? Air filter? Air box lid holes? With exhaust only probably jet it between 145-155 on the mains. If it has a stock air filter and stock air box it doesn't need much jetting over stock.

If you really want it to run do a search for 12 hole mod and get a nice after market air filter. Jet it to 175-182 and hang on.
