I ride a 700xx and have road a kfx 700 also. the 700xx has way more power and throttle response is better. There is nothing wrong with the kfx700 just the 700xx is more powerful and has a better top speed. All of you who say "oh i could kill u in a race" to me just go screw off i dont need to hear it. fanboys will be fanboys. 700XX FTW

Depends where you're riding. I only ride in the sand and even when I was bone stock I beat 700XX's all the time. On the trails I would likely prefer the Honda but for me the KFX is better. If I was a trail rider I would just get a raptor though.

First off you're an idiot.

Second peak HP means very little. When you make 80% of your power over a 4,000 RPM range you're going to beat a bike that makes and extra 5HP over only a 1,000-2,000 RPM range. Like I said I raced plenty of them when I was stock and I never lost.

Third yes I'm an orangutan at 6-4 260 so other sport bikes are not really made for me.

Fourth my first bike was a 250R and I rode the shit out of it so yes I know how to work a clutch. In fact I often jump on my buddies LT-R 450 just to reaffirm how much I like the size of my KFX.


In all honesty the one thing I really don't like about the KFX is the weight. When down in an idiot hole here there's only room to turn it around by hand it would be much easier if it were 100lbs lighter. On the other hand the Honda isn't enough lighter to make a damn bit of difference in that scenario.

I never understood those that want "fast" comparing stock to stock anyways. None of them are fast stock in my opinion. Never rode, raced, or hell even seen a Honda 700 in person, maybe their just too powerful for the average joe?

i have raced a 700xx thats was modded a little exhuast 10 hole mod few others he said nothing crazy

first race the kfx700 took him then the 2nd race got me on the top end . but both are close ...

I've raced them back when my ltr was stock and beat them. Nathan I know what you mean about the ltr's I want to get rid of mine and get another kfx 700. I've fallen in love with them and how comfortable the seats are. I'm getting out of racing flattrack so thats the only reason I was keeping the ltr.

You only see the poor old 700xx at the start line for a few seconds from about the 28 sec mark and that was against my little old 450.....he didn't even want to make eye contact with the brute lol. the 700xx is just plain slow, handles like a drunk fat chick on ice skates and is even uglier than said drunk fat chick......go back to your generator forum where you can comfortably go back to chatting about KVA instead of HP.
