Hi, I just bought a non running 2004 KFX80. The battery was dead, so I charged it and even left the battery charger hooked up, but the engine will not turn over when the start button is pushed. I have the key in the on position and engine switch to run. The lever on the lower right side (brake? safety) is up as the previous owner told me it needs to be up to run. I have verified 13 volts on the battery, one of the large red wires on the relay near the battery and on the orange wire on that same relay. I have power through the fuses also. I found a reset switch above the right rear tire and did reset the switch. I can jumper the two large red wires going to the relay and the engine cranks over fine, but I see no spark if I set the plug next to the engine case while cranking it over with the jumper wire. I think I need to fix the cranking issue with the start button first. What should I check out next? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! John
