I was given a Mojave from a friend that had too many projects and too little time. The bike seems to be in very good shape and was said to run before the kick starter stopped working. The kick start lever just seems to be stripped as is is not engaging and turning over the engine, if feels like a ratchet that has worn out. My buddy is still in the process of digging out the service manual on the bike. I was wondering if you can access the kick start guts fairly easily or do you have to take the engine/transmission apart to get to the internals. I am new to the mojave but the bike seems to have a following and looks like it would be fun to ride. looking forward to getting this one back on the trail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
