Does anyone have a set of NEW crank and/or rods for KVF650? All of the normal sources (Rocky Mountain, Partzilla, the 40 sites Babbits runs) are on backorder right now.

OEM Part Numbers
Crankshaft: 13031-0057
Rod Assembly: 13251-1130

I don't have NEW but I do have a freshly refurbished 700/750 crank & rods. If you swap both the crank and rods, your 650 (really 633cc) will become a 665cc due to the longer stroke of the 700/750 cranks/rods.

Do I need to do anything on the top end? Also, I assume some carb tuning will be necessary?

No. Nothing else needed. You'd likely want to run KFX700 jetting if you are all stock which is 135-front, 140-rear main jets.

I built my 05 650SRA to a 730cc by using a 700/750 crank & rods & 84mm pistons. Your stock pistons are 80mm. Stock KFX700 pistons are 82mm. Brute 750 are 85mm.

I was going to rebuild carbs anyways so that's fine. I didn't even realize this option existed. Can you send me a PM with a way to contact you? If you're comfortable with doing so, I'd love to give you a quick call to discuss pricing and such.
