Can anyone tell me exactly what the hole on the left side of the head is for? I'm working on my cusion's KFX400 and when I start it up and let it warm up to operating temp. You can hear it and see it start bubbling something out of the hole. I'm assuming it's anti-freeze. What would cause this and how can I correct the problem? Thanks!

The hole leads to the depression in the head (because it's overhead cams)where the spark plug is. Basically it's a drain. Pull the spark plug wire and blow it out. Maybe you got water in there. Try that first. Might want to make sure the plug is tight too.
Maybe you got a bad gasket as well though.

Thank you for the info. I had no idea that's what that was. That's a really big relief. I was concerned that it was more serious than that.
