Ive got a 2015 Kawasaki mule that operates in some pretty harsh conditions and is probably nearing the end of its tenure. Anyways, the dfi light came on while I was riding and the machine started lurching. So I cleaned the throttle body. That didnt help and I noticed then that the high temp light came on too. Checked the coolant lines and realized that the radiator was cold. The line was cold all the way back to the engine. I figured maybe the thermostat got stuck so I removed it. Didnt help. Next step is to replace the water pump.

Anyone have an idea if a bad pump could cause the dfi oight to come on amd start lurching?
Or do I have 2 different problems?
