Hello everyone. So I have a 03 kawasaki bayou 250 that needed a starter clutch replacement. I noticed taking the flywheel off it was on there very tight however upon reinstall no matter how much or how hard I hit the flywheel I can easily just pull it back off. Do I need to find a way to press it in or does something else hold it together? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Flywheels are usually held in place on with a bolt or nut torqued to a very specific number. Review your service manual for these details.

Service manual states "installation is reverse of removal". The crankshaft on this atv extends through stator housing into the pull start housing with a nut at the end only to hold a piece that engages with the pull start. The only thing holding the flywheel/magneto on was pressure.
