Hey all-

bought a project KFX700 over the weekend. I bought a bunch of missing parts on eBay this last weekend. But missing one critical piece.

the previous owner stopped riding it 10 years ago because the fuel pump died. So he moved and threw it out. So i have the gas tank but an empty hole where fuel pump goes. I see 50-70$ rebuild kits, but require the enclosure which I don’t have.

any ideas? 3rd party ideas OR selling the piece or selling entire part? Please let me know!!

Hopefully auburn can help you out here. The price for a complete OEM replacement fuel pump assembly from Rocky Mountain ATV is $586.35 😲

There's also a "fuel pump damper" you'll need, which is basically a rubber ring that sits between the pump assembly and the tank to form a complete seal. Luckily, it's only about $12.

my brother said there is a tank for sure in the shed.
i will be up this saturday and pull it out.
he would only save a tank if it was good.
the rubber damper does come with the replacement pumps.
