Mixing tires

925 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Craig B.
I have 26in. Bear claws on my 360 prairie 4x4 and like them for the riding I do. I have a new set of front rims on the way and was thinking of trying a different front tire. What other tires would work good with the bear claw out back? Was looking at the swamplite for the front. Thanks for any help. Craig

Try some zillas..They are the best all around tire I have ever ridden on....
Make sure the new rims are the same width as the stock rims because this will change the tire height .Also make sure the other tires are the same height. As with any tire (atv, car ,or motorcycle) even though the tires are the same numerical size the heights do change from one company to another. With two different height tires front to rear it could cause damage or premature wear if you do alot of riding on dry pavement.

Then my front tires will be more agressive than the rears. I plan on keeping the bear claws in the back.:D
