So, instead of a KIPS badge on the jug “moose racing” is etched into the jug along with some kind of signature I can’t make out. Can anyone guess why and what may have been done to the motor?

moose sold replacement cylinders back in the day.
you just get the machine?
it could be bored over or just a replacement if no other work has been done.

Yeah I just got it. No info from the previous owner. It’s leaking exhaust from the governor

Looks like it was built by kustom kraft. And it might need crankshaft seals.

Anyone got a solution for this? It appears to be a sleeve at 67mm

Just buy a new one..or one that can be bored.
