There's another stop sale on the FXT's in regard to Steering shaft and steering gear. I was notified by my dealer on 2/21/2020 :(
Just got a recall letter about my buggy a day or so ago. I'm holding off on taking it in, letter indicates there are other recalls as well. And I'm honestly not sure if when I take it to the dealer that they will release it back to me until all of these recalls are done. I live south of Houston, freezing breather lines are not a concern for me pretty much any time of the year, and especially for the next 7-8 months.

Has anyone heard anything new on this issue? Are dealers getting the parts and are units being returned/released to customers?

I called my local dealer last week to schedule and he said that they can't even order the parts yet. He's expecting them to be available in the next couple of weeks.

My dealer said the exhaust (fire hazard) recall parts can be a available within 3 days of ordering. They said they are 3 weeks out (estimated) on the steering component parts being available.

I called Kawasaki (Main US/Cali Location) on Monday. The rep said that the parts are delayed and they can only guess "3 weeks" at this time. She said they have no guarantee of an exact time and it may take longer. Per Cathy @ Kawasaki: 1-866-802-9381

And Email reply:
Thank you for contacting Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A.

I left a voicemail for you earlier. We appreciate your patience with this recall. We anticipate the parts will be available the end of May or early June. I apologize for the inconvenience. We are doing everything we can but unfortunately due to the Virus the parts needed have been delayed. If you would like to discuss it further, please call our Customer Care Department 866-802-9381

I have a call in with my dealer, the guy covering at lunch didn't know much other than the dealer has at least 50 sets of parts for each recall on order and hasn't received any of them yet. My guess is that it is still going to be several weeks out before any real solution is viable.

I see on the Kawasaki website....waaayyyy down at the bottom of the page under "recalls" that it is estimated there are 72,000 units affected by this recall....might be a long, long time before dealers get what they need.

Kawasaki Savannah, GA. Dealer got all the parts for the primary recall that started the Stop Sale, and unknown to me at some point a recall for a steering issue came up for which they also received the parts and completed. So both of those recalls they received parts for and completed the repairs.

Hey guys, new to the forum. Figured I would chime in on this thread, as I have been following as a non-member. I picked up my 2020 mule pro fxt ranch edition on 4/18. My dealer in Jonesboro, AR got parts in almost 2 weeks ago and mine was near the top of the list. So the parts are coming in, just slowly. More hope for you guys that are still waiting!
