I was in the middle of purchasing a 2024 Mule Pro 1000 fxr when a nation wide "stop sale" came down from Kawasaki on all 1000 units.
Apparently there's a combination issue? (Doesn't seem like a quick fix)
Now I'm stuck trying to find another UTV that's close in capabilities and price.
Looking at a 2023 Can am defender hd9 and a 2023 mule pro fxr that's only 812cc and has less towing capacity.
I need this unit for a TN property in a mountain terrain forest. Step grades, lots of blown down trees that need pulled out, and general work around the property.
I need this unit within the next 4-6 weeks.
Question is, should I wait and see if the 2024 1000s come back on the market?
Or will the 2023 fxr with 812cc engine be enough of workhorse for me?
Or just go with the Can am defender?
Any help would be appreciated!

What? Just got ours yesterday. It's a FXT Pro Ranch 1000. What is the issue?

We bought ours on 4/6 andpicked ours up on 4/13/2024. Then get the letter a few days later.

Our issue is that we bought a 12' trailer to haul our new FXT and the similar rangers and Can Ams need a 14' trailer. Something to consider.

Dealer offered to let us trade ours in at a 1K loss towards a Ranger. But the Ranger will not fit on my 12' trailer so stuck waiting on a fix. Played with it 2 days and then got the letter.
