Help!!
I have a 2019 Mule Pro Mx. About September of 2020, I noticed that that speedometer would stop working while driving. Sometimes it would not work on start up. It would eventually start working out of the blue. About January 2021, my check engine light would come on around the same time as when the speedometer would stop working. It’s been in the shop twice and they can’t figure it out. No fault codes. Anyone else ever had this issue? It’s making me crazy. Thx

Sounds like electrical. I would check for loose or corroded connectors. I would also check ground connections; clean/tight.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue with the exact make model and year right now.

Sorry, no fix yet. My dealer said that no fault codes show up and it never happens when they have it. I’m in limbo. I just drive it and ignore it. Maybe I’ll get a hard break one of these days.

That sucks. I’m bringing mine in on Friday but they can’t get to it until July 9. If they find anything out I’ll let you know.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. Interested in what happens to the guy that has apt. in July.
I have the same problem, engine light on and off and speedometer goes on and off. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
What is it with 2019 models? I have a check engine light on, but my speedometer is working full time. I'm trying to figure out how to read the codes.

We have a 2021 doing this and today radiator boiled over; the first time it affected his steering; it showed no codes
My 2021 MX Pro is doing the same thing, it has 18 000km on it. When the engine warms up the speedo goes to 0, check engine light on and code 24 is the error.

My fan decided to stop working and the problem was fixed by wriggling the wires where it goes into the fan motor.

That is about the one downside to the MX Pro, the silly way there is no easy way to get to the radiator because the bonnet is fixed and is hard to remove, and that silly bar location across the top of the fuel tank that means you have to remove the fuel tank before you can pull the fuel filter.

I have bench tested the speedo sensor that is accessed by removing air intake housing (or in my case I had previously cut out that plastic storage box under the seat because I have dead grass going everywhere on the buggy issues and needed better access for cleaning, and I never used that box anyway). The sensor worked worked fine on the bench. Then I heated it up with a hot air gun and once it got hot, it stopped working. So that is my problem.

To bring up the error code. When the check engine light was on, and the buggy was moving, I had the digital display showing total km/miles, and held down the left button for several seconds, then the error code (24) came up. Pressing the button again bought it back to the mileage reading.
