I have a 2006 650i brute force that was filled with too much oil. After running it for a while, It had oil in the air box, on the engine, and lost all it's power.
I changed the plugs, the oil, cleaned the carbuerators, the air box and the engine. It ran fine for a little while and then it started back firing and lost its power. Can anybody tell me why???? Could it be electrical?? The bike only has 740 miles on it and is pretty well maintained.

well i had the back firing issue but it wasnt because i was overfilled on oil.

Try checking your exhaust manifold gaskets, there crunch gaskets and once they get so worn and you cant tighten the manifold tighter you get backfiring. I would check that first just see if the manifolds are loose
