It is time to change the belt and I have a few mod questions.

I ride mainly trails and hit the sand dunes up a couple times a year.

05 BF 650 SRA INFO:
1. 25" Mudlits XL's on stock rims.
2. DYNATEK CDI
3. FULL HMF
4. K&N Air filter

Questions:

1.) Should I upgrade to an EPI maroon primary?
2.) Do I have to upgrade my secondary spring if upgrading my primary?
3.) If I do up-grade my secondary spring what should I get?
3.) Do I keep my stock setup and replace my belt?
4.) Should I buy an OEM belt?

Thanks for the Help!!!

EPI Reply

I called EPI today and they recommend a pink primary and black secondary? Does this sound right? i want to stay as close as stock as possible. If my bike lifts the front end anymore I will have to pull of the throttle when drag racing. Let me know what you guys think?

i have an 08 sra. just got my clutch back from vfj. i installed the maroon primary, it helped a little. it does have a little more stall than the stock spring. you dont need to change your secondary spring the stock is fine. i did the stage 3 with the spridermod and the kebc removal. its awesome!!! more power from bottom to top. i agree with the others, only buy the stock belt.
