2008 Brute Force 750 EFI
Been doing lots of research on the slip on mufflers. Everyone seems to be happy with the Full Muzzy. Equally good reviews on the HMF. The Full Muzzy @ $600 and the HMF @ $218, I think I'll go with the HMF. (url at the bottom of this msg. HMF>$218 free shipping) I'll snag me the HMF and pay another $21 for the quite core.
My question is: after installing the HMF, should I have the EFI re-jetted or adjusted for the new HMF?
Thanks :)

You are comparing the price of a full exhaust system to the price of just a muffler.

i was thinking about doing the same to my 09. i like the idea of having a the stock muffler for hunting and the hmf (for a little more power and hopefully a stock to slightly louder but much deeper sound) for when i am going to the dunes/desert or out having fun. i am thinking about getting a vdi for it so that i can have two curves for (i believe) both fuel and timing. i just do not want a full time loud exhaust nor do i want to part with the $500-600 for the muzzy when i plan on keeping my brute basically stock. all i want is some itp terracross radials- stock size, a bit more performance when playing, and the most reliability possible (possibly the VFJohn clutch mod). if you go this route please post back your results and how you feel about the hmf.

I've pretty much decided to go with the HMF and also the quite core. At this point I just don't know if I'm going to need to have the richness and leaness of the EFI adjusted. I guess I can always ask the tech guy where I bought the BF 750. :)
I'm trying to decide which color HMF to with, probably the Black /silver tip.
