Yes it has the 'O' ring to seal it, I pulled the motor apart and couldn't remember oil in there, that was early last year though. Its going to sit till I need it, wanted to check before sealing it up on the shelf.
Was reading through the service manual for my '05 Brute 650 and found when do in a compression check the number were pretty low (47-81 psi).
But reading further I found that the KACR bleeds off compression at low RPM so it is easy to start. This may be the reason for low compression reading...
my 2006 650 is completely dead. I have checked for rodent damage and found none. All fuses are good. Power getting to the key. Not likely a kill switch issue. So it looks like a rather major job.
I am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram that I could source. .
